Arnold DuBell is the associate director of competitive intelligence and strategic intelligence for the oncology business of Novartis.
DuBell joined the Swiss health care company in November 2019 to lead competitive intelligence efforts for various hematologic indications, including acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes.
Prior to working at Novartis, he spent 12 years at Kantar Health, a life sciences company headquartered in New York, according to his LinkedIn profile.
DuBell began his career at Kantar as a research analyst in 2007. After nearly three years, he was promoted to the role of associate consultant and eventually became senior consultant in 2016.
He led the publishing of an internationally distributed multi-client marketing research report for almost four years.
Prior to joining Kantar, DuBell spent five years at Planet Biotechnology as a senior scientist. At Planet Biotechnology, he supervised a group of research associates and designed DNA constructs for research and production efforts.
Earlier in his career, he served as a content and quality assurance scientist at Ingenuity Systems, a software company serving science researchers that is now part of Qiagen.
DuBell earned his bachelor’s degree at Albright College, where he majored in biology.
He holds two master’s degrees: one in biology from Bucknell University and another in finance, accounting and marketing management from Santa Clara University.
DuBell also holds a doctorate degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University.
