DroneDeploy is recruiting a product marketing manager to work in its offices in San Francisco, California and in remote locations. The role reports directly to the director of product marketing and is responsible for strategizing and creating content for marketing campaigns, the company’s help-wanted ad said.
The company said that its next hiree will take part in salesforce enablement and partner marketing efforts while working closely with the company’s sales and product teams. That individual will also be an important player in beta testing activities as well as product launches.
DroneDeploy, a provider of cloud-based control software for drones, said the product marketing manager assists in the attainment of revenue goals by taking the company’s messaging across multiple channels. This function may call for market engagement through blogs, social media posts, video releases and even email campaigns – all aimed at generating awareness for the firm’s products.
Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience in order to be considered, the company said. A strong background in the architecture, engineering and construction technology industry is highly preferable. DroneDeploy demands a “true self starter who can take ownership over the execution of projects” to drive the success of the business.
