EnVista, a global software solutions provider and consulting services firm based in Carmel, Indiana, has enhanced its transportation visibility business intelligence platform with the addition of a suite of what it calls “day one dashboards.”
By presenting over 100 visualizations, the newly incorporated dashboards provide clients with immediate and improved insights and comprehensive transportation visibility. Data generated by the BI platform can further be maximized through optimization tools that allow users to manage global transportation operations and cost, enVista said Monday.
John Stitz, chief revenue officer at enVista, said the platform’s new dashboards address the imbalance between an organization’s being abundant in data while at the same time being information-poor as the dashboards enable clients to filter, drill and interact with data for more accurate decision-making. Stitz further emphasized that it is high time for transportation operations, finance and executive leaders to make knowledgeable and data-driven decisions to drive transportation cost savings.
Among other things, the BI platform can be used to evaluate cost-drivers and network optimization opportunities for enhanced sustainability and decreased waste and costs. Clients can also use enVista’s BI platform to get a clearer picture of the impact of COVID-19 on transportation networks, which would consequently reduce wasteful spending.
For shippers, enVista offers BI services that provide comprehensive visibility into their transportation data. Shippers are then able to gain access to senior-level transportation analytics that maximize product value through customized key performance indicators visualizations and proactive analytics.
In addition to providing transportation analytics, enVista allows clients to gain a better understanding into role-level optimization, network optimization, automation of carrier score carding, and carbon emissions and sustainability reporting. EnVista combines its physical and digital commerce solutions with its Unified Commerce Platform to fully address customer needs.
