Curant Health, a healthcare organization headquartered in Atlanta, is looking to hire a full-time business intelligence manager to be based in Smyrna, Georgia.
The successful candidate will manage a team of business analysts and SQL developers to generate internal and external business insights. The candidate must also ensure that BI systems and processes are structured to drive better business decision-making and sales, demonstrate outcomes and support efficiency projects. He or she must also organize research or development projects, such as data model building and visualizations, and manage BI request backlogs.
Among other things, the candidate is expected to deliver development progress reports to stakeholders, improve solution delivery speed and end user satisfaction and develop an advanced understanding of industry trends, metrics, and key performance indicator benchmarks.
Curant Health is interested in candidates with a bachelor’s degree in business analytics or any related field, preferably with an advanced degree in fields like management, healthcare or mathematics. The ideal candidate must also have at least five years of related experience with progressive growth in responsibility and scope, backed by two years of experience in managing a BI team.
The role requires an advanced understanding of the full reporting delivery life cycle and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools, such as Power BI and Tableau. Additionally, the role calls for an understanding of BI practices and concepts, data modeling and data warehousing.
